				Problem with small files

Hi I have been using flashfxp for a few years now, with no problems.

Recently I started having troubles downloading small files under 7kb
These files have various extensions.

.sfv
.nfo
.txt
.pdf
.info
.doc

Any ideas on why this would happen all of a sudden? It downloads the filename but leaves a 0byte file on my system.

Hello. Sorry for hijacking this 2-3 months old thread, but I'm having the exact same issue.
Pasting info for nfo files, but sfv files also have this issue for me.

Is the downloaded file 0 bytes on your computer?

I assume you've tried refreshing the local browser window in FlashFXP to see if its an update issue or if the file size is truly 0 bytes?

What FTP server software is the the remote host using?

I've tried viewing the nfo files which are just empty, as are the sfv files, even after multiple refreshes.

Another thing I forgot to mention is that if I right-click the remote file and choose view, it works just great no matter the file size. For instance, the nfo in the first paste works just great if one simply transfers to the temp folder for viewing.

I don't have permission to use the SITE VERS command, but as I recall being told, it's glftpd the remote host uses.

EDIT:
I have an old 3.4.1 unregistered on my laptop, and FXP from that site to my own local-use RaidenFTPD works just great, although the files get a few bytes larger than on the original site.

I'm honestly not sure, this has me quite puzzled.

From what I can tell the file is downloaded as the size reported after download.

Could it be a problem with viewing the file? Have you tried to view the file outside of FlashFXP?

When you download a file in ASCII mode from a UNIX/LINUX based FTP server the size will always be larger because the text format conversion.

No, the size is reported but the file is transferred as 0 bytes:
[R] SIZE fairlight.nfo
[R] 213 4406
Transferred: fairlight.nfo 0 bytes in 0 second (0,0 KB/s)

I have double-checked skiplists and whatnot, and nothing is there to be skipped at all.

I have tried editing both nfo files and sfv files in notepad, as well as run them in their respective default applications both from explorer and from the flashfxp local browser (which I believe simply is a shell for explorer, in a sense?).
