Default multi groups support ?

Hi.. is it possible to add multigroup support to nxtools..

For example if a user is in group NUKERS and affil group, he can only pre if affil group is the first.
But he can only nuke if NUKERS is first group.

And i know this can be solved with flags, but i want it to work with groups.
Ex. if u have a guestpre group or something like that.

Is this an ioFTPD issue, or can this be fixed with nxtools? :>

thnx

nxTools checks all groups a user has membership in, the primary should not matter. Of course, there's always the possibility of a bug. I'll do some testing...

Everything works fine in nxTools; it would have been more helpful if you had the exact error message.

If you were to enter the command "SITE PRE freeware Some_Directory" while inside the "/GROUPS/BLAH/" directory, the pre group check would display one of the following:

Quote:
Your group(s) are not allowed to pre to the "<section>" area.
None of the groups the user is have access to the freeware section. To correct this, enter the command "SITE EDITPRE ADDGRP freeware <group>".

Quote:
Your group "<group>" is not allowed to pre from this path.
The group that has access to the freeware is not allowed to pre from the current directory. To correct this, enter the command "SITE EDITPRE ADDPATH <group> /GROUPS/BLAH/".

seems nxtools works perfect as always..

The problem is ioFTPD.
If u make a specific vfs for 1 group and default for the other, ioFTPD will read the first group.
So user could not see the groups dir

but one think to remember is,
if a user is in 2 groups, put affil group first

Cause on pre announce the %(preGroup) cookie wont work.
