Problem starting AlcoBot

i installed alcobot, but always get that error: [☻AlcoBot☻] Error :: Libraries - can't find package AlcoExt 0.2 - do not know how to solve it :-/ libs are in the right path i think

please help me. thx

Could you provide some information, your post is quite vague.

- Are you using AlcoBot on Windows/Linux/BSD?
- What path have you install Eggdrop and AlcoBot to?
- Did you download the AlcoBot zip package from IniCom's script page or did you check-out a version from the source repository.
- Or anything else you consider relevant.

thx for ur reply and i am sorry for my undetailed info.

i am using windows and windrop. the path of alcobot is c:\ftp\sitebot\scripts\alcobot, but also i have tried different places, on all, i got the same error, no alcext2.dll could be found. i got the alcobot package by inicom's script page and once, the alcobot was working well, dunno why now it will not work. i also installed activetcl, butthere was never any problem with it.

i changed in early days to the newest version of windrop 1.6.17, this could be the reason ? i guess i have set all paths right, but the dll could not be found.

i was testing a bit... when i use windrop1.6.16 alcobot runs, but when i use windrop1.6.17 i got this message: [☻AlcoBot☻] Error :: Libraries - can't find package AlcoExt 0.3

The Windrop v1.6.17 package from http://windrop.sourceforge.net is known to be buggy/broken.
