Question .nfo problem + incomplete dirs

Hi!
I'm kinda new with ioFTpd, but I managed to get it running. I'm currently running v.5.8.0 and ioBanana v.19.

1. I have a strange problem when uploading .nfo's. One will create a folder, no problem.. upload an sfv.. no problem.. upload an .nfo.. ftp stalls for 5-10 minutes.. then says .nfo is already there (despite that it clearly was not since you just created the folder). After that uploading of the files works like a charm.
This happens on every single .nfo-file uploaded!

2. Creating of incomplete-folders inside the directorys works.. but not the outside them or [Race]-folder creating either

If someone could point me to a settings-file where the problem could be located it would be greatly appriciated! I'm a gui-guy.. this is hard :P

Thanks for your time, hope I didn't break any rules! :/

If there is a trailling / or \ in the sample config option, i suggest you use the same notation if you want a working script.
ie: don't expect io_path=c:\ioFTPD\ to work correctly!!!
Regarding bugs, you'll have to upgrade to v20 once it's final (or you can do it now if you want to take risks).

It was the case-sensitive dirs that were the problem.. I've noticed that they behave a little weird.. if the dir in question is in CAPS, but FlashFXP shows it as small chars for some reason... ioFTPd won't see it as CAPS either.. whats up with that?

I think it's a dir cache problem since this one is case insensitive.
Could you explain what you mean with 'the dir in question is in CAPS, but FlashFXP shows it as small chars' (perhaps using an example).

well, it went like this.. I had named the dirs in small chars.. then I renamed them to all CAPS since that was what I had in the settings.. but for some reason FlashFXP still showed them in small chars.. even after restart and refresh. And apparently ioFTPd also belived that the dirs was still small chars.

*edit*
hold on... case INsensitive? now I have no clue!

ioFTPD doesnt allow you to rename a directory with a different case, ie. this.is.a.directory cant be renamed to This.Is.A.Directory

It doesn't matter where or how you've renamed it.
