Before saying it "doesn't work" do a little trial and error and think.

1. Update your ioA to the latest version (1.0.8)
2. Does ioA create the new dirs and update today symlinks?
3. Check the ioA debug log to see if any errors appear.
4. Does ioA write the NEWDATE: line to the ioFTPD.log file?
5. In the eggdrop partyline do you see something like "Received NEWDATE".

And so on...

Depending at which point it fails, it would show whether it's ioFTPD, ioA or dZSbot related.

ah thx that was the problem...
in ioA 1.0.8 the setting is...
Newdate_Log = ""%area" "%vfs" "%desc" "%phys""

so i changed it to...
Newdate_Log = ""%vfs" "%desc" "%phys""

now its working fine
