Question Master account problem o_0?

Hi

I have read over the ioFTPD documentation.
And it says that the master account is

username: ioFTPD
password: ioFTPD

when I use these details to login, it get the error "530 Login failed"
Is their something I'm doing wrong?
The anonymous account work's fine

a little frustrating.

Any idea's 8)

have u made sure that the admin.vfs has a valid home dir???

the user and pass are correct, if they were wrong u would see Login incorrect, its most likely your VFS files

just to fill in a bit what lormen said, the master account uses a different vfs file from normal accounts. normal accounts use the file "etc\default.vfs" while master accounts use "etc\admin.vfs".

it is also possible that your "etc\hosts.rules" file contains an entry preventing admin from logging in, but your vfs file being wrong is more likely.

thanks, I found the problem.
I changed the master account to use the "default.vfs"
also I moved the app folder to D:\ioFTPD and that sorted it.
Thanks
