Default site chown crashes 4.6.1

I did a site chown -R <username> <directory> and IO crashes sometimes. Has anyone else done this and have problems with it?

I did some more testing. if you do a site chown -R and the directory you are doing it to has directories under it it crashes. but if it only has files it works fine.

OK - but I'd sure like it. Was not very funny to set all permissions to private dirs manually
