suggestion about softlinks

Before I used IglooFTP-PRO in linux but since its not developed anyone and
will look terrible in newer linux dists with antialias fonts I had to switch to something else...

There is two things that I miss in flashfxp that IglooFTP-PRO in linux could do. It has all to do with SOFTLINKS on unix based ftps.

1. I want flashfxp to show the date of the DIRECTORY and not date of the softlink POINTING to that DIRECTORY. Now it shows the date of LINK, not the DIRECTORY.

2. For ftps that supports it it will show the size inside a directory in the column
"size" in flashfxp. That works fine, but NOT if its a LINK to the directory. Then it wont show the actual size of the directory in the size column.

All these things are very useful on sites that sorts files based on different properties. Then they just softlink to them. With the help of the date I know
what I have downloaded before and with the help of the size I know how big it is.

sounds like both things should be provided by ftp server in the dir list....unless igloo is sending some special ftp commands.

I have checked what igloo sends:

List arguments:

Default: -a
Resolve Links Enabled: -aL

Does it exist a setting like this in flashfxp? I dont find it.

Options > Preferences > Advanced Tab > List Method

Select "Custom List" and change it to "alL"

Click OK

I think this should be default. I cant find any reason not to have this by default.
