Default Client Certificate Authentication

Are there any plans to add client x509 certificate authentication for ftp sites? This would be really helpful to me. Thx for any feedback on this suggestion.

Yes, I am currently in the process of adding client certificate support to FlashFXP.

I've been working on it for quite some time now, OpenSSL is a very bumpy road to navigate and I've run into many problems without obvious answers. I have resolved most of the issues. However there are still some remaining. Once everything is working a beta will be released to registered users for testing. (hopefully within a week or so)

Just a confirmation to let u know that the new client ssl authentication in the latest beta works prefectly w/ bsdftpd-ssl. Many thx for the hardwork and effort that went into providing this functionality.

do you need your accounts merged SNS? if so, please send a request to support (using the contact us page), with as much information as possible, ie your two forum ids, flashfxp info, etc, and we will merge them for you.

As of build 1120 client certs are supported, the current beta releases are available to registered users only. A public beta will probably be available within the next couple weeks.

i look forward to it, i am currently using a cli for my ftp work, but moving to a gui will be a lot better, and the price is very satisfying, if the cert auth works great i will certainly be buying it.
