Default "Copy" feature?

It would be helpful if FlashFXP offered a "Copy" feature to compliment the "Move" feature, if it's feasible to do so.

Sometimes when I'm in a site, I notice it's missing a standard file that is in another directory, so instead of having to download it and then reupload it, it would be nice to be able to just copy it to the other directory.

i can't think of any RFC spec for file copy..
with move you are basicaly renaming a file from /full_path/file to /new_path/file

If that's the case, could the download/reupload at least be somewhat automated?

For example, /public_html/blah/ is missing file.htm which is in /public_html/bleh/, so you right click on file.htm and select copy, enter in the new path, it downloads it to a temp directory, then uploads it to the new path on the remote site.

May take just as much transfer, but at least it's a little less hassle for those of us that have to upload files repetitively.

Another good example would be for making a new image directory for a skin, highlight all the files and "copy" them (via the automatic download to temp dir then reupload) to the new image directory, there's 100 files being dealt with automatically while I can move on to more important things.

you could try fxping, if the site will allow/support it, then you'll get the same thing as "copy"

FXPing right back into the same server?

Anyway, I've tried FXPing with our servers before, but they're blocked.

It's not in the RFC.

MxxCon is correct, moving is just renaming a file, so even that's a workaround.

It would have to be done on the host machine.

*EDIT: I just tested FXP'ing on the same machine. It works and will get the job done as long as the server your on allows FXP and simultaneous logins.
