alternative way to detect trasmfer speed

i have a suggestion. dont think its hard to add it ...

glftpd has a status line after each transfered file:

226- [Ul: ...MB] [Dl: ...MB] [Speed: 359.09K/s] [Free: ...MB]

isnt it possible to get the correct transfer speed from that line ? sometimes it happens that because of bad routing or whatever the transfer stalls and nothing happens for some seconds. then ffxp calculates the speed incorrect and it reports a lowed speed as i got. so mayb its possible to add ths feature ...

mayb with an option to enable/disable alternative speed detection

The speed is different depending on the point of view.

In FlashFXP the speed is determined from where the data connection is establashed until the socket is closed.

The same is said for the ftp server, however when you download a file the ftp server always finishes first, it takes a few seconds for the ftp to read all of the remaining data which is still in transit over the internet.
