Red face no passwd masking!

who needs it?
i anyway write the passwd in the Notes txt box, so the masking is VERY useless..
i tried what u said before about Sites>Security>setPasswd but my sites were deleted!
plz, no1 needs this masking crap, nobody get hacked and if he got hacked it's his problem, we don't need 2 suffer coz of that..

just my honest opinion.. anyway, great software!

when you turn set password option "on", you will get an extra option within site manager to view your site passwords

Also I would ensure you are using a unmodified copy, this can be done by downloading FlashFXP directly from our web site.

I have to agree with bzo - I do not have concerns about someone else getting my passwords, and it is a pita to either:
a) not be able to see what I have as a password, or
b) have to enter an app password, and then click on the reveal box to see what the site password is.

Does it not make sense to have unmasked passwords, unless you enter an app password? If you are concerned about security, then you enter the app password, otherwise, things are fine!

BTW, just found out how to turn on the timestamp in the status window - that's the only other thing that has been bothering me! And then there was one...

teabag, if you don't want to enter the app password, just put it in the shortcut with -pass="password" after flashfxp.exe and if you think clicking a button to reveal a password is too much work, you are just too freaking lazy!
