Exclamation FlashFXP identification for ftp-servers

Hey Bigstar,

I was wondering why FlashFXP won't identify itself properly to RaidenFTPD. SmartFTP for example can do this though, so it's not impossible Well i hope you can implement it, it's not important, just fun to know

There's no reason for FlashFXP to identify itself. The server doesn't need to know what client you're using, so why tell it?

I don't know about most users but personally the ftp server operator has no business knowing what ftp client you're using.

If a user wants they can fake their client, make it anything they want.. hows that sound From the Site Manager / Advanced / Perform on connect, add the following text

CLNT <whatever>

Thumbs up

I checked it, and it works flawlessly But i was thinking, can't you make it an option to turn identification off? So by default the client will identify, but for the privacy paranoias out there, they can disable it. I think many siteops would like this....
