sorry i forgot to tell you that i was using a http proxy to upload, maybe that will help you a bit

That could explain it. I suspect the http proxy is timing out on the control connection.

You could try enabling the "Send noop during transfer" option located in the Preferences > Proxy Tab. This option isn't compatible with all ftp servers and may do more harm than good.

send noops is turned on already :/ but it wont show them in the status window.. is this normal?

btw: as the actual beta doesnt have this problem it doesnt matter that much to me... just trying to provide some info

Yes, it's not supposed to show them during the transfer. However some ftp servers will show them when the transfer completes.

HELP!
I am having problems with my flash. I've been using Flash since november and done well with it. Flash has helped me build my web site and i love it! but for three days it has been really weirded out,it tells me things like
(Go ahead make my day^W^W^Wsend me the data.)
and (child died) Now theres scary one :-(
(200 ASCII tastes bad, dude.)
(500 OOPS: close)
(500 OOPS: child died)
( 500 OOPS: close)

It seems to be having the same problems as the post above. Am I correct and how can I resolve this issue?

Can this be a resault for an admin sending messages to the client connected? (Option in Bulletproof FTPd (G6) )
