Default 2 quere-connections

Hi,

how can I run 2 transfers in the same quere?
I mean, If I have 8 files in quere, I would like to transfer "1+2" the same time. If that's finished, file "3+4" etc.

How is that possible?

Best,
Tobias

no you can't...
FFxp doesn't support simultaneous transfers.
and it's a 'queue'

Sorry, I only had a bad "D" in English @ school :-)

Mmh ... SmartFTP supports that.
It only openes a second connection the other FTP.

I wanted to switch to FlashFXP, if it supports all the features I need

FlashFXP does not support concurrent file transfers.

okay, can you put it on the features-list then?
It is a very nice feature ... but the work-around will work of course.

If you realize it, I'll switch to FlashFXP (perhaps :-)) )

I'd also very much want this feature. this is the only thing that other
ftp clients are better at, reason for me wanting it is that, i get
say 50KB/s on 1 session. and with 15 sessions i get around 700KB/s

with a second line in, i'd have to use 30 sessions to max out speeds

write a complaint to the ftp server owner that he only gives 50kb/sec /session

get your facts right first.

i do the same thing on a 10Mbit full duplex line myself (and yes i am the admin), i can sit on a 1.5mb line with one thread at 10K, or i can fire up flashget with 20 logins and max the line out at 155k.

Or another example, i can fire up 30 ffxp windows to push up the line of a cable connnection at 700k +

So as you can see, sometimes one part of the world is not good at the other, and using multithreads goes along way to help

that wouldnt have disqualified my opinion since that could have been a reason too, cause mooo didnt give all the facts in the first place

Then why don't you just include the option into FlashFXP and satisfy the user?

because ffxp needs to be re-written from ground up, so this isn't going to happen anytime soon

Actually it's my own links, and they perform bad to some places
during peak hours. there is no cap,

Using many sessions is the best way to maximize speeds over
long distances / slow networks etc.

Is there a timeframe for the flashfxp rewrite "flashfxp pro?" ?
