530 Error????

hi i got a little question. i have an account on an ftp somewhere, but whenever i want to login i get an error like this:

530 "*@<ip>" is not valid for the account specified.
Connection attempt failed.

can anyone tell me the solution to this?
(i left out my ip, to avoid hackers....)

It's related to identd, or your failure to present such.

whoever created your account assigned ip range from which you are allowed to login.
your ip changed and therefore you are not allowed to login.
contact siteop to resolve this issue

no, my ip hasn't changed, and it's also not my identd
but the problem is already solved, don't know how, i spoke to the admin of that ftp and it was ok
