Hanging on end of file?

quick question.. does neone know what is causing my upload to hang on end of each file.. when sending from my pc > ftp site it tends to hang at end of file.. it will be going 27-29k and then once it ends to end drops to 0.00k and just hangs til site times out... they are 50mb files that it hangs on.. ne way to fix?

im behind a router (linksys) incase that helps

what ftp server software, including the version. also do you know if the ftp server is behind a router.

This is because of the idle timeout setting on the FTP server. The file still uploads OK, but it hangs afterwards because your control connection has been terminated at the server side. Get one of the admins to increase the/your idle timeout setting on the server.
