unzip files via FXP?

Hi everyone,

first of all, fxp is a great program as far as i can tell, i dl´d it 2 days ago an fits my suits better than any other ftp client.

but there´s on question left, is it possible to transfer a zip/gzip/rar/.... file via fxp and to unpack it on the server ?
i have to upload whole typo3 packages, which consist of thousands of small files.
it takes ages to transfer them, so i thought i could just zip ´em and unzip on server, which should be a lot faster.

so - is there a way ?

If the server supported some sort of custom SITE command to unzip the file it would be possible.

There is no way to do this with a client unless the server supports it.
