In order to connect to a ftp site you must know its address: it can be an IP address (like 255.255.255.255) or a host name (like ftp.microsoft.com).
If you check the "Anonymus" check box, you don't need to provide a User name or a password, otherwise you'll need this info.
The "remote path" field can be filled with a path inside the server that you want to access to, it's like a "bookmark": for example, you can write there --> /pub/documents/ and when you access to the ftp server you'll appear on /pub/documents/ folder, if you don't write anything on this field you'll access to the root folder of the server.
