Home directory shortcuts

I have ran across a problem that I never had before when connected to an ftp ran with bulletproof ftp server. This server has a home directory shortcut turned on so a shortcut to your "home directory" shows in every directory. When I queue up a folder containing files it is also queueing up the HOME shortcut and when I hit GO it goes on a frenzy of change directory commands until it crashes. Is there some way to make it ignore these shortcuts?

you could add "home directory" entry to skip list
or
you can go to preference, options tab, uncheck "follow symbolic links recursively"

I meant to add a post that I fixed it by adding "home" to my skip list. Thanks for the help.
