Default what does the "site uses ip masq..." option do ?

i would know what this option ( found @ quickconnect -> toggles )
do, to connect to a ftp server who dont work with the normal settings.
what does it make with the socket or something..
pleaye explain me any1 what goes on in detail

sorry i dont need a newbie help.. i want to know what flashfxp does EXACTLY when i have this option turned ON

there must be any network or socket stuff be, that flashfxp does handle different when i set it on.. but WHAT

mainly it's when you connect to a site using PASV mode and site will reply with non-routable ip, FlashFXP will understand that ip is invalid and will try to connect to site's real ip, instead of the one reported in PASV reply

and if i'm not mistaken this option is pretty much absolete since flashfxp now detect this automaticly
