Default FlashFXP no longer useful for me.

My web host upgraded their servers and now only support SFTP, SCP or plain (insecure) FTP. I can no longer tunnel FTP over SSH so I can no longer use FlashFXP.

If only it had SFTP support.....

Oh, well. Of to find another program and spend my money some where else.

It's a great program and I wish I could keep using it, but I will not use FTP and send my passwords in plain text.

You should complain to your webhost and demand that they offer SSH/TLS, or at the least S-KEY support. Maybe even find a new provider.

With S-KEY the connection remains plain text but the password is encoded using a hash provided by the FTP server.

They do offer SSH, that's how I was able to do it before they upgraded. They are one of the largest, most secure hosts out there. I have no complaints with them at all. I'm glad they finally offer native SFTP support instead of having to tunnel FTP over SSH.

Oh, I'm not a secret agent. I'm just smart enough to not want my passwords flying around in plain text.
