disable LiveUpdate

My company bought a big number of licences of flashfxp and I scripted a installation script to deploy the software to the clients.

Now I have a Problem with the LiveUpdate Feature.
Our comany uses a proxy which is listing to a different port than 80:

Due to that the LiveUpdate is not able to sync with the flashFXP server. The error is 10060 Connection timed out.

My companys polity is not to use any direct update features, but use a testing process before deploying a single bit to the client workstation.

Please tell me how to deactive this feature. Right now I am not able to deploy the software and my boss asks me every day when I can finish it.

Help, Check for New Version, Options, uncheck "Remind me every ... days"
sorry, i'm away from my puter so i can't tell you exact changes in .ini file, but you can compare the differences..if you want to roll it out on multiple puters.

Now I am able to disable the reminder dialog:

Thats good.
But users will still be able to configure the proxysettings on their own and bypass the testing and deployment process of my company. Is there a options to hide or to grey the menu item HELP>Check for new version..

The used version is V2.0 Build 906 on W2K SP2

just fyi, but you should upgrade to the latest version, 2.1, build 924. there are many changes and fixes since 2.0.

There is no option to hide this feature, However I'll be happy to add one into the next release. (the next release is about 2-3 months away)
