Help! Connection Timed Out

I am having trouble connecting to an ftp site with a port other than 21. I am running on Windows 2000 with version 2.1 build 924. I am using a LinkSys router and think that this may be the problem. What should I do? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

are you completly not able to connect? you can't get dir list? file transfer? what?
unless you paste status log from flashfxp it's impossible to help you.

I get the message:
Connection failed (Connection timed out)
Delaying for 21 seconds before reconnect attempt #1

make sure ftp server is indeed up and running and your firewall doesn't block flashfxp's connection.
can you connect to that site with any other applictaion, such as your browser?
