Default Failed to open file for write

I am getting this error message:

150 Ready to receive "/C/FTP/PUB/helppetshome/index.html". Mode STREAM Type ASCII NO-PRINT.
426 Failed to open file for write. Connection closed.
Transfer Failed!

I cannot transfer my index.html. The only thing I can do with it is pull it back to my hard drive. When I try to send it to the server I get the above message. Have I some how made it so I cannot overwrite the index.html on the server and if so how the heck do I correct this.

I am using version 2.0
OS - win98

Thanks

make sure that you have write/overwrite permisions in that dir where you are trying to upload

"make sure that you have write/overwrite permisions in that dir where you are trying to upload"

The index.html is the only one that will not transfer to the server. All the rest upload just fine. If write/overwrite permissions is the problem then how do I correct this? I have full access to the server I am using just so you know. You would think that if this was the case then the other pages would not be able to upload.

MxxCon is one of our moderators.

Please answer his questions in his sig.

FlashFXP build ?

Network config ?

Timestamped Log ..

Also what server are you trying to upload (Deamon/version) ?

and does this happen on only this server ? or others as well ?

Are you able to delete the file ? or just not overwrite ?

Remember, we are not at your computer..

Thanks for the responce. The company that is hosting the site made alterations to my permissions by mistake. All is fine now. Sorry if I came off a little impatient but i was in a panic to upload an optomized page for Googles deepbot and there is only a couple of days left in the dance.

Thanks again for your quick responce.
