How to use FlashFXP anonymously?

I want to use FlashFXP via an anonymous proxy. I use a proxy for anonymous http surfing, with no problems at all

I've tried to fill in the data in the "proxy server" box, without any luck.

Anyone?

You need to find an proxy that supports anoynymous FTP. Here are some I am using NOW. Trust me, they all work as of 7:30 AM today, and have been extensively tested.

Also, keep in mind that 99% of the time proxies announce that they are anonymous proxies. Many FTPs detect this and filter out your traffic. What you need to find -- and I can't help you bacause I never found any -- is an anonymous FTP proxy that stealths itself, and looks EXACTLY like a regular everyday IP address. I have plenty of these, but they are all HTTP and socks.

Please respect that this is my personal list. Since busy proxies quickly become dead proxies, please do not republish this list outside of FXP Forums, or I won't be able to post them here any more.

Thanks. Right now I use gw.comsys.ideon.se:80 for anonymous http surfing with nice speed.

My problem is how to fill in this information into FlashFXP and then download/upload anonymously to/from a ftp. Is this possible at all or not..?

No, you don't do this through FXP itself. You do it using Proxy software. FXP info travels through the Proxy software, bounces off the proxy site, and back to you anonymously.

You can run your browser, FXP, and anything else through this.

The proxies I gave you are exclusively for FTP. They are not for HTTP.

Yes, that is what I'm looking for. So what kind of "proxy software" should I use, and where can I get it? Can I even do anonymous scanning when I use proxy software?

Depends on what kind of "scanner"you are using. You can scan through the proxy, but be aware that many FTPs recognize proxies and lock them out. You need to find one that doesn't give away any details that it is a proxy for those, and these proxies are very rare. If anyone found one they would keep it themsleves. Too risky to share.

Look for A4Proxy around the 'net. It's in all the usual places. Try searching through some 0days to find the latest registered version. Failing that, you can download build 909, and find plenty of "fixes" on serial and crack sites. Newer version may not have a "fix" available.
