What type of risks does enabling DMZ host include?

It allows all incoming ports to be accessed externally, with DMZ disabled you have to specify which ports are open.

DMZ enabled makes things easier but it's less secure.

Should I just set my computer as a DMZ host, or open all ports for FlashFXP?

EDIT: Because I'm behind a Linksys router, and basically, either way works (or so it seems heh). I'm wondering which way would be safer, or which one works better.

in short. if you DMZ your machine, its like putting it on the out side of the firewall. so with that in mind, in pretty easy to guess whats going to be the safer option.
