Default FXP on port 21 ?

I have big problems with FXP on port 21. anyone know whats wrong?

It's hard to know what's wrong unless you elaborate on what the problem is.

The problem is when I fxp from a server that dont use port 21 and to a server with port 21, or the other way around, I get those connection error, cant recive. the servers I have up is allowing fxp, those on port 21 to.

Are you behind a router, are you using a firewall, what OS are you running, do you have any entries in the error.log, does the status-window indicate anything? From what you've said so far it sounds as if the ports are re-directed (by NAT or such).

I'm using win2k professional and I'm behind a server at home. could this be the problem you think? server is win2k advanced server, soon to be linux. the only sercive on it is dns, dhcp and internet sharing.
