Default New to FXP - Could not site to site transfer

Hi!

Please help...I'm an old hand at ftp'ing but tried to fxp between two sites for the first time and kept getting a:

Could not open data connection (10065)

error message.

One of the sites was bulletproof ftp server and the other was serv-u...could the bulletproof ftp server be the problem?

Thanks in advance!!!

I don't know what other info to give...I have a terrible ISP so I set up Bulletproof FTP server on my home computer, I put the server online and then connected to the internet.

I opened up my home ftp site and the site I wanted to get files from in FlashFXP. When I dragged the file across to my ftp site the above error message displayed!!

Please tell me what other info is needed and I'll be happy to oblige...thanks

A more complete copy of the status text would be a good start.

Read what else Mxx says... about providing the build number, the OS, and anything else which may give us an idea of what to look for...

is there any firewalls, etc

OK I'm using Flash FXP 1.4.3 Build 835 and my OS is Windows XP.

I've attached a text file of the log to this post. Is this what bigstar meant by the "status text"?

I'm not quite sure about the network config...I was using dial-up and don't have a firewall installed. All I have is Norton Anti-Virus running and I'm actually not sure whether its internet protection was disabled or not when I tried to fxp. I'll try again later today to make sure and post back but I don't think I had it running.

Besides that I don't know what else to tell you guys...you know about as much as I do...

TIA

10065 = A socket operation was attempted to an unreachable host.

Either the ftp server is configured to not allow site to site transfers or it is simply unable to reach the other ftp server.
