resuming transfer if the server ip has changed?

is this even posible? i have a rather large file to download using dialup and the server's ip has changed, now when i try to resume the download flashfxp tries to connect to the old server's ip. any way of stoping that and resuming from the current ip?

just connect to new ip and start d/ling that file.
make sure that your when file exist rules are properly configured
