Angry FlashFXP won't even TRY to connect b4 giving me an Error

Everytime i try to connect to anything on with flash i get this error:

Connecting to Adobe
Connection failed (10061:Connection refused)

Connecting to American Online
Connection failed (10061:Connection refused)

Connecting to Intel
Connection failed (10061:Connection refused)

Connecting to Microsoft
Connection failed (10061:Connection refused)

Connecting to Netscape
Connection failed (10061:Connection refused)

this happens everytime regardless if the ftp is up or down... i know this for sure because i tried connecting to my ftp which was up @ the time... i sucessfully connected on a different ftp client

all passive/firewall settings are fine...

im running windows XP home ed.. (don't laugh LOL)
and FlashFXP 1.4.3, and i have tried older versions of Flash all with the same error. flash worked fine for me before on other operating systems... any ideas? please help!

Are you positive the WinXP Home doesn't have the XP firewall turned on by default?

"Connection failed (10061:Connection refused)"

Maybe the site admin has banned your IP or only specific IPs are allowed to log on this server... It's a possibility.

are you connecting to host name or ip?
and nobody asked if your svcd dvdrip group or child porn collector.
keep that info private to yourself.
none of that crap on this msgboard!
