Default Got it today & it says I am on day 172!!

A friend told me about FlashFXP today - I went to their site and downloaded the 30day trial to see if I would like it - when I tried to run it it said I was on day 172 of a 30 trial and closed down - now what????

That seems a bit odd, no matter what day FlashFXP is on it doesn't expire. You should still be able to use it.

I am going to answer both replies in here.
Shark

OS is Windows XP Pro

FlashFXP 1.4.3 Build - never got that far with it.

Bigstar

You mean even after the 30 trial it doesnt expire?
I couldn't even open this one.

Does anyone know of anything I need to look for in the registry that might be 'hidden'
I have cleaned out the registry of everything I could find to do with Flash FXP. Once everything is done will I be able to install it again?
Many thanks
Jane

Yes, after 30 days it does not expire, however you will notice a slight delay on startup at the nag screen, the longer you use FlashFXP the longer the delay will become.

I highly recommend that you do not edit any registry settings or flashfxp.ini directly, modifying a value incorrectly can cause unpredictable results, including being unable to open FlashFXP.

You might want to check for an errorlog.txt in the FlashFXP folder.

There's no errorlog.txt then? It could be that your copy has somehow become corrupted, yes, so another download won't hurt. Just make sure you install the new copy in a different folder- If you over-write the old, it won't help.
