Default it seems like the program freezes...

has this ever happened to you in FlashFXP? .. when I start to connect to SOME ftp sites, it seems like the program freezes, however, after some time it comes back.

First time I've ever heard of such a problem.

Are you connecting to the site via IP or hostname?
If hostname can you try using the IP, does that solve the problem?

Do the sites that cause FlashFXP to freeze have anything in common?

Are any of the sites public that you can share with me?
(you can leave me a private msg)

That's not normal. I am simply lost for words.

[Several minutes later]

...And then it hit me..
The dropdown local path says "3dGameMan" while the file listing and the path below it reads "C:\Program Files\FlashFXP", this leads me to believe the problem is related to your "3dGameMan" folder.

Is this folder a network share?
Does this folder contain many files?
Using the local view browse to your "3dGameMan" folder manually does it freeze up?
Is there anything special about this folder?

30-60 minutes is insanely long, tho. If this was "normal" network-share issues, the connection attempt at the remote-site would have timed out in ~5 minutes. Sounds like someone might have done a poor job while setting that up.

that white bar instead of menu bar is normal WinXP behavior.
on all puters that i tried, whenever some prgrm stop responding and i either click on it, or switch to another task and comeback menubar will be white like on that screenshot...

Actually, the white, like grey on Win98 and white again on Win 3.x, is just an indication that the screen isn't being updated as a result of the application not responding. The menu-bar is a common control and exposed to any effects imposed by central events.
