Default Ctrl+v

Vers: 2.0 Build 901, OS: WinXP Pro SP1

In local filesystem view:

Copy (CTRL+C) and cut (CTRL+X) works fine, but Paste (CTRL+V) doesnt.

You have to mark the dir where you want the file/dir copied/moved to, select explorer menu and then paste.

When a file is marked, yes. But when i do ctrl+v inn a directory with no files selected isnt it supposed to paste into that dir then? Im almost certain that this worked before

yes, this DID work in the earlier versions. You used Ctrl+X to cut the files, or Ctrl+C to copy, and then Ctrl+V to paste but now it's view. damn. that's like one of the best commands in flash and you overwrite it? not good. is there any other way I could paste now?

We released v2.0 build 902 which switched ctrl-v back to the old style. I suggest you re-download FlashFXP to obtain the latest build.

I was thinking.. that's probably a good idea.. To treat ctrl-v differently depending on what's selected. This was never the case.

ctrl-v for view on the local view was introducted in v2.0, it never existed prior to v2.0.

well, if you're going to add the view function when a file is selected, please make this a choisable (is that a word?) function. so if you want it enable it, and if you don't, disable.

well it's not an optional option and it never will be.. It was a missing shortcut that was overlooked until v2.0.. Incidently we didn't realize that it conflicted with the built-in ctrl-v of windows explorer.
