Bigstar , 1583 tested, but still issueing but i think i found why it's causing, it's regarding the list-command , it's set for this source to "automatic" detection and while it always doesnt work for this source i get 90% times this :

[L] TYPE I
[L] 200 Type set to I
[L] MLST somefiles.***
[L] 550 File or directory not found.

and after a while suddenly this is happening :

now i changed from "auto" to STAT-L , and first it looks better for the list mode :

[R] STAT -al
[R] List Complete: 553 bytes in 0,69 seconds (0,5 KB/s)
[R] Calculating timezone offset of server...
[R] MDTM somefiles.***
[R] 213 20110118021910

but this MLST with "file not found" is still here in this build:

[L] MLST somefiles.***
[L] 550 File or directory not found.
[R] PASV

perhaps the whole issue is caused by the list-command which sometimes ****s up the TLS/SSL (screenshot above). what do you think?

for the moment the issue isnt appearing... i will post later again (most of the times it appeared after 5-10minutes)

EDIT: i still wonder about this for another source :

[L] SIZE somefile.**
[L] 550 somefile.**: No such file or directory.

it's not set globally to first get "SIZE" so i wonder..."request file size/date prior transfer" , it's never set for any source.

regards

Its funny, now this issue is also caused during a running transfer, it's all the time this source but also all the time to the same destination. but other connections to the same destination (some filezilla ftp server) are also working, strange.

Funny now i get this 50% cpu usage on ffxp.exe process also on another source, it's sporadic, not always, but often during ssl/tls handshake. strange.

Ok getting cpu usage on ffxp process in 1583 and 1582 , during transfer, during refresh, during tls/ssl handshake, while this didnt issue in former versions i say there's a bug cause it's not pointing to only one source, all sources are now not working properly

Hi.

Just noticed in 1582 that there is a SIZE command issued in both left and right pane, when using site to site transfer.

And it doesn't matter what the setting "Request file/date prior to transfer" is set to.

I do not have it enabled, but it still sends those SIZE commands.

rco133 hopefully this is now fixed in the new build.

benjamin3 I'm not 100% sure but its possible that the issue you experienced is related to the memory corruption/race condition that I found, please let me know if you continue to have problems with the new release.
