Default Hebrew problem - shows Gibberish

Hello everyone and FlashFXP staff!

In FlashFXP version 4.0 RC 2 build 1480 there is a serious problem in Hebrew..
The program can not read folder's name or file's name in Hebrew,
it shows Gibberish instead of Hebrew..

Here's the screen shot:

Hope it will be fixed soon

Please try using another font for the file listing

Options > Preferences > Interface > Fonts

Select a font such as Tahoma and set the script to Hebrew

Also are you using Windows Vista or Windows 7?

to help others with this issue in the future can you please provide me with these two lines in your flashfxp.ini under the [main] section

Font=
AppFont=

you can locate your FlashFXP.ini from within FlashFXP, go to help > about > details tab

take the location of your data folder and paste it into the run box (keyboard shortcut windows key + R) and it will open the location for you.

Thanks

I don't have FlashFXP 3.x on my computer anymore,
but here's some info about my Windows version and what was the solution to my problem:
Windows 7 build 7600 x32
and my settings are:
Font: Tahoma
Script: Hebrew.

B.T.W
In FlashFXP 3.x the problem in Hebrew text wasn't exists at all..

Thanks for the update.

In v3.x FlashFXP used Microsoft Sans Serif as default

In v4.x we use the OS default font typically Segoe UI, it appears that this font doesn't support the Hebrew script.

I may need to rethink which font we use as default due to the limited script support.

Thanks for giving me a solid lead on this problem.
