Very strange situation...

Why I knew about 3.0.0.1001 RC3 from third part forums and not from Customer portal where old version 3.0.0.1000 is still situated...

Very strange situation... Very...

Sorry. But you will find it here.

Don't ask me why it's not in the Customer Portal yet, I only work here.

Registered users can download the update quick and easy directly from FlashFXP.
From the main menu, Help > Check for a new version.

Since this is an update it's smaller than downloading the full install from the website.

But not every user will sit and press "Check for a new version" every 5 minutes.

Ah, good point. With the new notification system you'll get an email when a new file has been added to the portal.

Pretty cool Point!
The Auto-Check with or Auto-Update Option will pass any other headache some user have and will keep the software Update as the progress going-up.
Will works most of the same as an Auto-Update for Anti-Virus Pattern build-in the software like all Norton Product.
I think as well is worth to takes such steps in real use.
Hope this will serve and everybody will feels happy!

Well what happens if you try to open flashfxp once it's expired and it closes automatically, without giving you the option to update it, I will add this to the suggestions section too.

Heheh

For every person who wants auto-updating there are 2 who think its an invasion of privacy, makes the app spyware...For examples of this just look through the FlashFXP section at betanews...

My feeling is this, if the program does most everything you want then what's the big deal if you're a build or two behind, especially when it's in beta. FlashFXP has a check for new updates link under help that works fine & can be set to remind you to update...

FlashFXP just gets better with age. Thanks Bigstar!

p.s. it would be nice if you could auto-update expired versions(never had this problem myself), although it states quite clearly in Status window when the build is going to expire.

Auto-update option whou would be disabled by default would make everyone happy. Don't enable it if you don't like it.
