Default Slow Download on Broadband with RC3

I am running WindowsXP SP1 AthlonXP 1900+ with 512 MB DDR Ram

I decided to format my computer.

Before the format I was running FlashFXP fine and downloading at 150KB/s+ running the latest RC3 from these FTPd's

Serv-U
Raiden
glFTPd
ProFTPd

Now after the format I install RC3 directly (on previous version i had be piggy backing from 1.3) and I get speeds of 8 KB/s and then it drops then stops

So i decided to go back to the latest stable 1.4.3 and it downloads fine again.

Any ideas?

Please insure your copy of FlashFXP is authentic, some websites mirror FlashFXP and provide a modified exe.

If you're not sure please re-download FlashFXP directly from our website https://oss.azurewebsites.net

Press ALT + \ in FlashFXP it will spit out a number
The valid result for 880 is 02B2DC43B384B4059B8D14AA0DD29BA9

If it doesn't match your copy of FlashFXP is not valid.

Have you tested several different ftp servers, perhaps there are other reasons to explain your slow downloads.
