Default bug in stored path

consider this two paths. first is original, second is after reconnect and ofcourse not work:

CWD /incoming/ÿÿ.ÿÿ. @ me ÿÿ./
CWD /incoming/ÿ.ÿ. @ me ÿ./

why flashFXP erased some characters ?

The problem isn't with FlashFXP, you're entering a folder name which screws up the FTP server.

Here's an example
[13:48:11] (2) MKD ÿÿ.ÿÿ. @ me ÿÿ.
[13:48:11] (2) 257 "/ÿ.ÿ. @ me ÿ." - Directory successfully created.
[13:48:11] (2) CWD ÿÿ.ÿÿ. @ me ÿÿ.
[13:48:11] (2) 250 CWD command successful.
[13:48:11] (2) PWD
[13:48:11] (2) 257 "/ÿ.ÿ. @ me ÿ." is current directory.

First, why would you ever want to name a directory that? Second, why wouldn't the server either handle it properly or throw out an error on creation?

Default strange name

why such name? i dont know. it is not my idea to name directory like this. this was on one public server, i had queue, but after reconnect queue not work. bad path name, dir not exist. i had to erase old queue and create new one and continue with download. strange. i try different ftp client to see if it's client or server.

Default bad name

i think it is client side "issue" ? because it doesnt work in S m a r t F T P (dir not found), A C E F T P can go to this folder but cant download (file not exist). so with flashFXP it is much better but not best. (you can download, but not after reconnect)

and

this commands are client side. so why flashfxp first use first and after reconnect second ?

CWD /incoming/ÿÿ.ÿÿ. @ me ÿÿ./
CWD /incoming/ÿ.ÿ. @ me ÿ./

and in saved queue is this:
/incoming/ÿ.ÿ. @ me ÿ./

why ? flash doesnt need server assistance to save path i think.

i can send you complete log file if you are interested.

FlashFXP uses the path returned by PWD. If the FTP server returns the wrong path FlashFXP doesn't know it's wrong. It always assumes the path in the PWD reply is correct. If PWD is incorrect you're out of luck.

It's one of the ways to *protect* the warez content uploaded to a FTP. Anyway the ppl should think a bit before ask warez-related questions here... just my opinion.

Default warez

not warez man, but private adult content, often under password.

but of course this is one way "to protect"... from stupid ftp clients, but not from flashFXP.
