Angry New bug found

1. I've a USB 2.0 external HDD
2. Open Flashfxp and start with a QUEUE
3. My HDD USB shutsdown..
4. FlashFXP continues with the QUEUE and reports
in every entrie.. "Can't create folder.."
5. To solve must turn on again the USB HDD and reset the state for the entries of the cue

I think that the solution would be check if the HDD exists and if all cue downloads are saved to the USB HDD , now not existing .. make an abort (STOP) cue.

Regards,
MikeT

First of all, your CUE should be QUEUE (very confusing since CUE is something else). But other then that, i can't see what FlashFXP is actually doing wrong here? The can't create folder message is IMHO the best error message it could give. And your situation is so specific, and is far from a bug, and it isn't really annoying as well, i don't see the point of this thread...
But maybe if previous versions of FlashFXP handles it differently, maybe you can post it how it differs from now?

Default Bug reply..

I am using latest flashfxp version, and yes it's really a bug,
cause I think that FlashFXP must auto-detect if you remove a usb harddisk while it is in use and auto-stop file transfer and queue.

Just test it and you'll what am I talking about.

Mike

This is the proper action for the situation.

If the queue contains multiple destinations the user would expect the files that can't be transferred to be marked as failed and continue on with the queue, transferring any file that is possible.

Ok, but.. in these case the queue only had 1 hdd destination, I think that the better would be move at the bottom of the queue the transfer line and when all destinations are unavailable just stop the queue transfer.

note : I'm also programmer , under delphi
