Default Help needed, With Vista Home Premium

Hi Guys, just got a new dell with Vista Home Premium, and cant get Flashfxp 3.4 to work,

error is "connection Failed"

system has macafee, tried with it disabled, still same result,

doesn anyone know if vista has a firewall setting I can change to make it work?

was 100% solid under xp,



any advice most welcome,

FlashFXP v3.4,
* OS vista home premium
* Running behind NAT/router No,
* Running firewall Yes, macafee
* Running Antivirus no
* Network dsl

I suspect it's your firewall software, Most of them can't be 100% disabled, while they may pretend to be disabled they still block applications.

You'll have better luck properly configuring your firewall or uninstalling it if it's not needed.

FlashFXP does work fine under vista, though it hasn't been tested with macafee on vista.
