				 Is this a bug for v3.4 Beta 5?

			* FlashFXP v[3.4 Beta 5 ].[1110 ], build [ ], [ ]registered, [ x]unregistered, [ ]pirated* OS [x ] WinXP, [ ] Win2K, [ ] Win98, [ ] WinME, [ ] Other
 * Running behind NAT/router [ x] Yes & Model [ ], [ ] No, [ ] Not sure
 * Running firewall [ ] Yes, Name [ ], Ver. [ ], or [ ] No
 * Running Antivirus [ ] Yes, Name [ ] or [ ] No
 * Network [ ] xDSL, [ x] CABLE, [ ] Dail-Up, [ ] Other

 I'm testing Flashfxp for the first time and downloaded the latest Beta version from the site, heard great things compared to what I currently use, FTP Voyager. One problem though, I can connect to a few sites, then, all of a sudden when I try to either re-connect to a site or try site manager to connect to a site, nothing happens, the program isn't hanging, I can still edit Options and the like, but i have to exit out and restart Flashfxp to get it to work again. Then after 2 or 3 sites, same problem, is this a bug?

			I figured this was a bug, so I'm glad to know other's have experienced this too, maybe a fix will come for it. As for firewall, I use Sygate PRO and have Symantec Corp for Antivirus, it's a company laptop but I admin 30 network ftp servers, and have been looking for something other then Voyager, maybe the stable version of Flash will work for me, I'll check that out. thanks

				 me too

			I also have this problem...
 WinXP Pro SP2
 FlashFXP 3.4 beta 5 (build 1110) - Unregistered
 ADSL (1.1mb's)
 Panda Internet Security 2006 Platinum (Firewall / AntiVirus)

 As soon as a connection times out or I get disconnected, I cannot re-connect or connect to any site without closing FlashFXP completely and starting up again.

			Hey Guys
 I missed this thread the first time it was posted.

 I double checked the code and I couldnt find anything that might explain this bug.

 Can you please test with caching disabled and see if that solves the problem.

 Also does anyone have this problem with 3.2 stable?

			I've tested this most of today with caching turned off, and it does not make a difference. Once FlashFXP has disconnected from a site it won't reconnect nor connect to a new site until it is restarted.

			Thanks for the quick reply.
 For clarification when it wont connect is it because the option isn't available, or doesn't do anything, or does it try but fail?

 Does anything show up in the ftp session log (i.e. it tries to connect but fails)?

 So far I've haven't been able to reproduce it regardless of my settings or sites.

 KingSky are you also running FlashFXP unregistered?
 Maybe the bug is limited to unregistered mode. Something which I haven't tested yet.

 | Yes, I am testing the newest beta version unregistered. I figured since I am probably going to change to FlashFXP pretty soon I might as well see what's coming
Clarification: I hope details will help, I should have provided more details right away.

FlashFXP seems to get disconnected more often than my current FTP program, especially when uploading lots of files. When it is uploading a lot of files and gets disconnected with caching turned on , it will just sit there and not reconnect until I restart the program. The 'connect' option is still available to me, but clicking reconnect, or trying to connect to a different site does nothing.

If I have caching turned off, and I'm uploading a large long list of files, the program still seems to get disconnected a lot. However, now it is able to reconnect and resume uploading 'most of the time'. It still seems to stall out occasionally though.

Whether caching is turned on or off, when the program is just sitting connected to a site and gets disconnected, it does not reconnect, nor can I manually reconnect. The connection options are available to me, but when I try anything, clicking reconnect or choosing a new site, nothing happens. No new text shows up in the error/transfer window no matter which I select.

---
I know this is kind of vague.. I'll try to do some more testing today so I can narrow down some specifics. Hopefully something here helps.

			I also have this problem and I'm usinf Windows XP SP2. Whenever you disconnect from a site you cannot cannot to another site until you close Flashfxp and open it again. This is intermitten because sometimes you can and sometims you can't but more times you can't. Flashfxp does not even try to reconnect even though you tell it to connect. There are no messages in the box to tell you that its is trying to connect. Flashfxp still respond and you can do other functions , you just can't connect to any sites until it is restarted.

			I have looked into this problem but unfortunately I haven't been able to reproduce it or determine an exact cause. This is an on-going problem that is still under investigation.

If you leave one of the site on idle for about 3-5 mins and try to open another site it will not let you until you close out flashfxp completely.

Perhaps you could be the one to help me finally solve this crazy bug |
