Default FXP 451 Failure writing network stream

Hi all

I have searched thru all related topics to the above error code, but none of em are the same 451 msg as mine so hope you dont mind another post about it..

It happends when Im trying to download the DVD iso of mandrake from the sunsite ftp ( ftp.sunsite.org.uk/package/mandrakelinux/official/iso/10.1/i586/ ), and weird thing is that Ive downloaded the first 2GB but due to the error code aint getting the last few 100s MB...

if i'm not mistaken build 924 doesn't properly support files over 2GB in size.
i strongly recommend you upgrade to latest available release. it's much better, and has full support for files over 4gigs

Does your file system support 2+GB files? You need to be using NTFS, FAT32 does not support files larger than 2GB.

Yea am using Win2k and all my drives are NTFS, so am totally clueless why it keeps doing it....

well, actually looking over the error, it seems like it's actually a problem with the server and not your end.
you might want to try resuming that file from another ftp
