Default Update/Upgrade Question..

I just purchased 3.x and was curious about the license. It doesnt make it too clear on the detailed description how long I might expect to get updates for my existing license.

Is it "lifetime" where as long as there is a FlashFXP, I can get the most up to date version since I have a license?

Or is it for this particular version, or for 12 months etc. Where any updates to the 3.x client, or any updated client version that comes up in the next year I am good to go for, but anything after that I need to renew or re-purchase a license?

Just curious.

Thanks

well, if it was for 12month, why would it say "lifetime"?
and since when is "lifetime" a 12month period?

your license will be valid for as long as FlashFXP exist.

Your license will be valid for all future major and minor versions of FlashFXP.

Thanks for the quick replies.

I never saw on the site where it said "Lifetime". I was referring to the main page which says "All upgrades to FlashFXP will be FREE."

I was just looking to clarify that upgrades included builds beyond the 3.x which is current. MXX, i've seen lots of different deffinitions of "always" and "lifetime" regarding products i've purchased. Some being for longer periods of time then others. Hence my question for clarification

Anyway, thanks again. Looking forward to working some more with FXP.

*aside*

How sad is it to be excited about a new FTP client... I need to get away from the computer more...

LOL

My bad, I didn't notice the revised License duration statements on the purchase page...

Looks you can take the words literally. Some other product/services' lifetime means when the product is still supported or under that major version.

I am happy with FlashFXP upgrade and support policy.
