Default File transfer hangs

Dear all,

I've some problem in making fxp file transfer between a VMware ESX Server and a D-LINK DNS-323 NAS. The two systems are on the same network and the file transfer is done for backup purpose. The transfer is ok for "small" files (20GB are ok) but if I try to move a 50 GB file, the transfer hung after about 45 GB, transferred in 1 hour and 15'; I did different tests, the file size and the time taken change only a little bit from one attempt to another.

Any suggestion is very welcome!
Below some more details including log (sorry for some italian part on it)
Thanks

This could be an issue or limitation of the FTP server software or file system.

Is the filesystem capable of handling files larger than 45GB?

Does your Dlink NAS support such large files? do you have enough free space there?

thanks for the support,

Yes, I've enough space in NAS (more than 500 GB available) and currently there are stored files bigger than 45 GB.

I did some other test; using Filezilla via ftp I been able to save the "offending" 50GB file from VMware ESX Server to another physical server and then, again using ftp and Filezilla uploading successfully to the final destination (DNS-323 NAS I mean).
I repeated the latest step using FlashFxp instead of filezilla, but the file transfer hangs up at the same point (about 45 GB).

It hangs during download or upload?

It hangs during the upload from the "physical" server where FlashFXP is installed to NAS. (not specified before, but the "physical" server is on the same sub-network of NAS and VMware host).
