Default Selecting files with a rectangle

FlashFXP 4.1.8 build 1701 unregistered
Windows 7 64-bit

First a pic of the issue: http://img862.imageshack.us/img862/1...rectangle2.jpg

I want to select files with a rectangle, like in the image. It works if I start from the bottom but if I start from the top, FlashFXP always assumes I want to drag'n'drop the item where I start from (I don't). If the list is longer than one page, it gets annoying to always have to go to the bottom to mark all files.

Until now I was using version 3.2.0 in Windows XP and there I didn't have that drag'n'drop problem. I'm migrating to Windows 7 so it's of course possible that it's a Windows issue instead of an FFXP issue.

This is most likely a side effect of having "Full row select" turned on, when this is on there isn't any empty area available for selecting.

In order to do a mouse select it must be started in an empty area.

To turn off the "Full row select" within FlashFXP
Options > Preferences > Interface > File Browser and uncheck "Full row select" and click the OK button.

Now you should be able to create your selection rectangle by starting your selection to the right of the name column.
