proftpd & error 530

These days I am configuring proftpd and I am using various ftp clients to verify functionality.
I configured proftpd to drop more than 2 connections per IP and return an error (530 "mpla mpla mpla" ).

FlashFxp is not showing this error!
On the other hand the error message include various scrambled characters (and I dont know why yet).... Is the message ignored because of this?!

It looks like your mod is returning random data from within memory, I would assume from the ftp server? This could contain sensitive information.

I have reported it to proftpd already....
owever, flashfxp doesnt show the error message. is this normal?

That's rather difficult to say without having access to test the server directly, there are a number of factors in play and any one of them might be filtering the reply due to the invalid response. However in this specific situation it is most likely normal.
