Removing IE icon

I've just upgraded to version 4 and Windows 7.....now I see an annoying IE icon beside all the html files....how do I remove?

F6, File Browser, Generic Shell Icons.

Or change file associations in Win7 to whatever other application you want.

F6? I tried it in IE and it closed the window, I tried it in FlashFXP and it did nothing.

Can you elaborate a bit more?

F6 in FlashFXP is supposed to open Preference window

Doesn't do anything on my machine.....how would I change in it Windows 7?

Any help appreciated....I'd like to see the Dreamweaver icon back!

do you have dreamweaver icon when you use windows explorer or is it ie icon as well?

Thanks, I fixed it in the control panel....now I see the dreamweaver icon in both ftp and explorer.

I was looking for this, but you all solve my problem.But I have no idea about How to remove the Internet Explorer icon from the Desktop ????

you can delete any icons from your desktop, if you don't know how to do that, look for help elsewhere, that topic is beyond the scope of this forum.
