Default FXP vs NAS issue

Hi.

I've just bought a WD My Book World Edition 1TB NAS server for my network.
But I seem to have problem moving files.
Using FlashFXP 3.0, I cant move folders from one root folder to another root folder.

[R] RNFR test.txt
[R] 350 Ready for RNTO.
[R] RNTO /Public/test.txt
[R] 550 Rename failed.
Move Failure!

Anyone got some ideas why this is?

Moving hundreds of gb's via explorer would take about 14 years :S

Regards, sjune

FTP servers only allow you to move files within the same logical drive. Provided the current folder and the new folder are on the same drive it should work, otherwise you'll need to copy the files instead of moving them.

If that's not the case then perhaps your NAS doesn't allow renaming/moving like that, I'm not entirely sure.

You'll need to contact the NAS vendor.
