unfortunately there seem to be a nunber of odd and currently unexplainable little things like this related to ssl in the drftpd 2.0.x branch. my best guess is problems steming from the ssl libraries used by drftpd. we can only hope that the 2.1 brach will eliminate these issues (iirc they have changed their ssl libraries)

Iirc, its not a matter of them having updated the versions used in drftpd, they have abandoned/dropped the old libraries and switched to using some they think are better. (i dont know for sure but i think 2.0.x uses some third party java coded libraries)... anyway only time will tell really.
